The growing meet-up hot spots

If you’re gonna meet-up why not do it in Style
As co-founder of GardenTags I was already sold on the power of online gardening communities and how they can nurture and support other growers. But what has truly astounded and genuinely touched me is how our members have taken their online growing relationships offline and organised their own meet ups at gardens quite literally across the growing globe. Here’s just a snap shot of some of the growing stories that have germinated online and flourished offline in RHS Gardens!
Access all areas at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Meet up RHS Chelsea Flower Show
The highlight in the GTagMeet calendar is RHS Chelsea Flower Show. We wandered around the show together taking in the mesmerizing creativity and design dexterity of the show gardens. One of us (not naming any names) splashed out on a very impressive water feature which has now taken pride of place in their garden. You can’t beat a bit of retail therapy 😉 The thing we were most excited about was our exclusive (GardenTag member only) tour of the gold medal-winning Hillier Spring Garden.
The red security cord was parted and we stepped onto the stand to take in the Spring structure and the dense planting. The very lovely Sue Robinson of Hillier Garden Centres sat us down and gave a talk on the herculean effort it takes to design, build and maintain a show garden. We left with our heads spinning and glad we didn’t have the responsibility of bringing a show garden to life. We were glad of a long cool glass of Pimms afterwards.
Growing souls at RHS Wisley Meet Up

RHS Wisley meet up
RHS Wisley is a regular GTagMeet for members. Susieg hit the nail on the head “It was fabulous… As if we’d all known each other for years”. There’s nothing better than a stroll around RHS Wisley with new gardening friends.
You can read @RachelBrooks and @Cassie26 growing stories here.
Bringing the sun to RHS Rosemoor

Meet up RHS Rosemoor
It was all smiles at the RHS Rosemoor GTagMeet. @CaroleCuttingItFine and @Tash74 brought the smiles and the sun to the day.
“Such a fun and laughter filled day! We brought the sunshine to Rosemoor in style” @Tash74.
