Learn how to lift dahlia tubers and prepare them for winter

Whether you’re an experienced Dahlia grower or if you’re new to this very fashionable flower there’s something for everyone in this ‘How to Lift Dahlia Tubers’ video by @mikethegardener.

Dahlia tubers are not frost tolerant so they will need to be lifted out of the ground before the first frost and stored in a warm and dry place. In this video Mike shows us how to carefully lift the dahlia tubers out of the ground and clean them up ready for storing.  He’ll also give advice on the best way to wrap them up and store them ready for adding back into the ground in Spring after the frost have passed.
