What is cold frame gardening?

Cold frames are essentially mini greenhouses and they’re called cold frames because they’re not heated.  Cold frames have many great uses from enabling you to extend the growing season through to hardening off plants and much more. In fact, Alice’s video shows you five reasons why cold frame gardening is an extremely versatile and inexpensive gardening technique.
