Top Ten RHS 2018 Winter to Spring Calendar Highlights

17 November – 6 January
‘Glow’ Garden Illuminations at RHS Rosemoor
At Rosemoor, the Glow Garden Illuminations have been extended for this winter season, to take in new areas of the garden. Be enchanted as you follow the festive trail around the trees, shrubs and sculptures, all illuminated by high-tech, dynamic, colour-changing lights.

‘Glow’ Garden Illuminations at RHS Harlow Carr
See Harlow Carr in a different light this winter as special lighting effects bring a touch of magic to the most northerly RHS garden. Enjoy an illuminated trail around the magnificent trees and shrubs as dusk fall. See the lake, Winter Walk, Streamside and Doric columns as you’ve never seen them before.

‘Glow’ Garden Illuminations at RHS Wisley
Rediscover the magic of the festive season with Glow at Wisley. Wander the trail to see the light playing on Wisley’s iconic trees, floating installations creating rippling reflections on the water, and stunning views of the Laboratory reflected in the Jellicoe Canal.

‘Butterflies in the Glasshouse’ at RHS Wisley
Proudly sponsored by McCarthy & Stone, Butterflies in tithe Glasshouse returns to Wisley for 2018, providing an unforgettable tropical retreat for visitors. Seek out more than 50 vibrant species of exotic butterflies as they fly freely among the Tropical Zone of the cathedral-like Glasshouse.

If you’re contemplating changing career to become a garden designer, but don’t really know where to begin, this day has been devised especially for you. Join experts from the London College of Garden Design to find out more about planting design, construction design and how designers communicate visually, including with Computer Aided Design (CAD).
