Video – How to look after your fruit trees and get them ready for winter

In this episode of our ‘How To Garden‘ video series Ellen Mary of Ellen Mary Gardening shows you how to look after your fruit trees and prepare them for winter. It’s really important to do this preparation to help prevent pests and diseases. The other great thing about this video is that Ellen Mary’s methods are all organic!

Using her discovery apple tree as an example Ellen Mary shows you how to clean the area around your tree to prevent disease.  Ellen also demonstrates a simple method to prevent wingless female moths climbing up to tree to lay their eggs which will change into blossom munching caterpillars in the spring.
